  • MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE - TECHNOLOGY, PRIVACY, AND DATA BREACH

Hausfeld LLP is accepting applications for an associate with two to four years of litigation and/or clerkship experience to join the firm’s San Francisco, Washington DC, New York, or Philadelphia office focusing in the data breach practice.

Associates at Hausfeld take a substantial role in investigating and analyzing potential claims, drafting legal memos, complaints, and briefs, managing all phases of discovery (including taking and defending depositions), preparing for and attending trials, and participating in settlement discussions, among other responsibilities. Although this position would be primarily focused on data breach and related litigation, there would likely be opportunities to work on matters in our other practice areas as well.

We are looking for someone who is a team player, a self-starter, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities. A strong academic background and excellent writing skills and analytic ability are required, as is the ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Applicants must be licensed and in good standing or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia, California, New York, or Pennsylvania.

  • LITIGATION LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (JUNIOR) 

Hausfeld LLP is accepting applications for a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant (Junior) to join the firm's San Francisco office. 

Requirements: Minimum of (3) years Legal Secretarial and Litigation experience in a law firm.  Proficient in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and word processing duties while exercising judgment over work priorities with minimal supervision.  Strong legal and administrative skills are essential, as well as the ability to multi-task and perform well under strict deadlines. 

Additional responsibilities include preparation and submission of ECF filings, handling of general administrative duties such as travel arrangements, calendaring, expense reconciliation, time entry, meeting coordination with efficiency and in a proactive manner. 

Must have knowledge of citation/court rules and litigation procedures. 

Assist with other duties as assigned. 

The candidate must be a team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others, highly organized, self-starter and extremely detailed oriented.  Must be flexible to handle changing priorities, proactive, resourceful, and efficient demonstrating a high level of professionalism.  Ability to maintain and understand the attorney-client relationship is crucial in this role.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $55,000 and a maximum of $75,000 annually.  The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.

  • Litigation Paralegal

Hausfeld, seeks a Litigation Paralegal to become an integral part of its busy but congenial practice in the firm's Boston, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Washington, DC office. Ideal candidates will have experience in all phases of litigation, including cite-checking and blue-booking, electronically filing briefs, trial, performing research using Westlaw and internet resources, managing document productions, managing the firm’s internal pleadings and correspondence files, deposition preparation, and strong writing skills.

Must be flexible to handle changing priorities, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
